Alpine Cheese Dairy Le Capre del Monte Pettine

Alpine Cheese Dairy Le Capre del Monte Pettine

“Alpe Crüina”

The alp is located on the Nüfenen Pass, which connects the canton of Ticino with Valais. Our mountain herbs and flowers rich alpine pastures range from 1900 to 2400 meters. We have about 110 goats, about 50 suckler cows and calves, some Valais fighting cows (Heringer breed), 3 pigs and about 150 Valais sheep on pasture.

We spend the summer on the alpine pasture. You can buy our exquisite cheeses made from happy goat’s milk directly at the alpine dairy. Our offer is complemented by: various types of goat cheese, cottage cheese, jams, honey and eggs, as well as meat for the fall (pork, goat, prairie sheep, yak).

We are looking forward to your visit! – Your host Natascha Bettosini
