Situated above Wiesendangen in an idyllic location, the Berghof, surrounded by vineyards and woodland, is a winery in its own right.
Built in 1923, has always been closely associated with viticulture, but managed as an agricultural enterprise. In the course of time, the cowshed became a party and festival room and the vineyard became the mainstay of the business. Since 2012, with the construction of the wine cellar, the Berghof is a real winery that independently produces and markets high quality wines. Our top priority is to work in a natural and sustainable ecological way.

The young winemaker couple Daniel and Seraina Müller continue to run the winery on the Irchel south slope in the third generation. The grapes from the Berghof are pressed by hand into various wine specialities.
We are happy to welcome visitors and energetic people who enjoy and work with us. The grapes we harvest here are picked by hand and destemmed, crushed, pressed and fermented directly in our wine cellar. Seraina and Ernst give all their intuition, a lot of knowledge and great commitment to the Berghöfler wines.

“Welcome to the Rankhof on Lake Sempach”
Our family farm, in the hands of the Hunkelers since 1826, is picturesquely situated on the shores of Lake Sempach in idyllic Oberkirch. We grow organic pome fruit and grapes on our 7.83 hectares of land. The mild climate here is perfect for growing fruit and grapes.
In addition to traditional fruit growing, a white wine with intense aromas, fresh acids and a fine residual sweetness thrives here. In viticulture we work together with the Hunkeler family from the Lindenhof. On the Lindenhof a part of the grapes is produced, which we need for our white wine. Enjoy our wine, wonderful fruits and the view on the Sempachersee.
