The Sidlerhof is situated on the outskirts of Nottwil and offers a magnificent view of Lake Sempach. We manage our varied farm with a lot of pleasure. On our 17 ha we do arable farming, a plant with different fruits and pastures for our mother cows. In our farm shop, which is open all year round, we sell various homemade products, which are also beautifully arranged as gifts. As well as various fresh products, such as the fruits from the plant.
In addition, we have an area of green asparagus, which are very appreciated by our clientele in direct sales. Thus we offer a versatile range of products from spring to winter.

The organic farm Schär is located at the entrance of Brittnau surrounded by beautiful hazelnut trees. Our family business is extremely diverse. In addition to farming, we have over 2000 organic laying hens, which lay fresh eggs daily for our farm shop.
The first organic hazelnut plant in Switzerland ensures a rich harvest of Wiggertaler hazelnuts every autumn. Every spring our customers can enjoy fine green asparagus and various fresh vegetables. Almost all year round we can offer lamb meat from our Engadine sheep. Our farm is complemented by a horse boarding facility with a large open-air stable.

In the middle of the vineyard in Morbio, a Roccolo (birdcatcher’s tower) stands out, which has been converted into an agritourism business. Especially nature-loving guests like the year-round open facility very much and it fits perfectly with the other offers of the dynamic winemaking family. In the cellar of Luciano and Grazia the professional hand is noticeable. This will enable you to carry out every step, every operation in the vineyard and cellar yourself, from the grape on the vine to the wine, but also in the sale, from the barrel to the bottle to the customer. Come for the harvest, sleep at the Roccolo, enjoy the wines and cheeses of the Muggio Valley.
Benvenuto – Your host Grazia Cavallini
The winery between the western bank of the Aare and the slopes of foothills of the Bözberg, which belongs to the Table Jura. In the course of the reintroduction of viticulture in 1985, the first vines of the varieties Riesling-Sylvaner and Blauburgunder were planted.
We now cultivate one hectare of vines in the “Sommerhalde” vineyard in Villnachern on the southern slope of the Bözberg. With a lot of passion and commitment we produce good wines.
